Rendeer Systems is a small, independent research company focused on autonomy, sensing, and edge AI for small unmanned systems. We explore how off-the-shelf drones and ground vehicles can be made more useful through vision, sensor fusion, and mission-aware software in contested, GPS-degraded, and bandwidth-limited environments—without assuming bespoke airframes or datacenter connectivity.
About
Rendeer Systems was founded in Georgia in 2018 to focus on satellite communications and defense-adjacent systems. Since then, the company has designed RF and networking solutions such as satellite terminals, electronically steered phased array antennas, Ethernet switches, and embedded platforms. That background now informs Rendeer's current emphasis on autonomy, sensing, and edge AI research for small unmanned systems. Internal efforts—codenamed Pharos and StarEdge—explore how guidance, mission intelligence, and portable edge compute can be combined so air and surface assets stay useful when GPS, high-bandwidth links, and cloud connectivity are not guaranteed.

Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Charles Dasher is an American inventor, engineer, and full stack developer. He has over 30 years' experience and over 100 granted patents spanning video, extended reality, automotive, communications, and AI. At Rendeer Systems he brings together electrical engineering, software architecture, and applied AI experience to drive the company's autonomy and edge AI research , including Pharos and StarEdge.
